My Mission

I am a professor in the Bren School, research director of emLab, and active in policy and applied decision making about natural resources. My research focuses on finding innovative, market-based solutions that are durable, equitable, and effective. This involves collaborating across disciplines, working with practitioners and policymakers, and thinking critically about how interventions affect human behavior.​
